Not even Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton, who share the dubious distinction of having milkshakes named after them at this Hollywood hotspot, have got such rave reviews.
But never mind milkshakes in America, tattlers are buzzing about recognition and honour coming Mallika’s way just like that in the US.
On Friday, she was presented a prestigious Arts Awards by the Mayor of Jersey City for her “unparalleled contributions to and influence on the Indian diaspora”. The event was organised to honour the Indian community and its contributions to the United States.
Jersey City has a large population of South Asians. Apparently politicians, business persons, and members of the press attended the event to get a closer glimpse of Mallika.
