Fashion Photography

The colour of the scarf around her head brings out the rich colour of the model's eyes. This adds to the beauty of the photograph as the rest of the colour in the photograph are dull shades.

The empty backround draws the eye to the polka dots and rich red hair of the model, which is the dedired effect. The texture of the hair is smooth and silky with the red standing out from her face. It is quite a bold shot.

The umbrella in this photograph is the same shape and size as the models dress, making it more noticable. Her pale complexion is used well with the colour of the umbrella which is a bright orange.

Although the colouring is similar through out the photograph, the texture of the model's dress and her gaze towards the camera focus the eye towards her.

Another Frame that relates to Fashion Photography

Another frame that can relate to fashion photography is the subjective frame. Fashion photographers use the models as their mannequins, moulding them to make people fascinated and look with awe at the beautiful models. When someone looks at a fashion photograph, they must wonder why is she so beautiful or wow, that dress is stunning. So they do it to get a reaction and to get people's reactions. When I look at a fashion photograph, I think of how they are so elegant and it reminds me of how different these models actually are and how they are not a realistic portrait of a human.
