Freida Pinto Opposite James Franco In Rise
Freida Pinto has been out of films ever since the multiple Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. The actress is recently approached for one of the most prestigious and coveted international projects.The hot lass has been approached to star opposite James Franco of ‘Freaks and Geeks’ fame in the prequel of ‘Planet of the Apes’. Freida will play the character of Caroline, a primatologist while Franco will be seen as a scientist who becomes a crucial figure in the war between humans and apes.
‘Planet of the Apes’ is set in present day San Francisco. The film deals with the aftermath of man’s experiments with genetic engineering which lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
If all turns out well, the film which is to be directed by Rupert Wyatt will go on floors next month and release by June 24, 2011.
